Bidding runs five more days on Fanatics Collect, on a morning when Darren Rovell posted a $2.44 million sale for a different Ohtani rookie autograph and Topps showed off a complete PSA 10 Planetary Pursuit Ohtani set.

The card is a 2018 Topps Tier One Break Out Gold Ink Shohei Ohtani rookie autograph, card #SO, a one-of-one, in a PSA Gem Mint 10 slab under cert 51101643. Sports Card Investor posted the $34,000 bid with five days left to run. No lot link, closing date, or buyer's premium note came with the post, and Fanatics Collect blocks us from checking the listing directly, so the screenshot and the account's word are the whole receipt here. Bidding is open, which makes this a price in motion rather than a result.

The home shirt is yellow with black pinstripes, a Malayan Tiger reference; the away is dark navy with a wavy camo pattern nodding to the same stripes, with red and white flag-color accents. Both go on sale tomorrow, and the first look at them in match conditions comes at the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup, where the squad debuts them on the pitch. Checklist Insider dates 2026 Topps Stadium Club WWE presales to September 21

It is the first full Stadium Club release built on WWE wrestling, with hobby boxes as the confirmed configuration and four named autograph designs: Base, Concentration, Inked, and Main Stage. Read the date carefully, because it is the presale and not the drop: Checklist Insider has the release date itself as TBA, so tomorrow gets you a place in line and nothing firmer than that. Our August 9 edition covered Topps opening presales on 2026 Universe WWE, a separate line, which makes this the second Topps WWE product to open inside six weeks.

Checklist Insider: 2026 Panini Prizm Premium Baseball opens September 25 as a $750 Dutch auction

Panini is selling it as a Dutch auction factory set opening at $750 a box. Each box holds the full 300-card base set, 306 cards in all, with base cards numbered to 199 and six random Premium Gold Prizms numbered to 4. Panini's own Coming Soon page had the item live with a countdown timer at check time, which confirms the product; the September 25 date is Checklist Insider's estimate, not a Panini statement. One thing to know before you commit: the set uses unlicensed MLB player likenesses.

Presales have been open since September 14, three weeks ahead of the October 14 release. Hobby boxes are $109.99 and Value Blasters $24.99.

An r/Panini poster finds about 450 loose 1994 Panini USA 94 stickers in an attic

The haul spans at least 13 nationalities' worth of players, and the poster asked the question everyone asks: are these worth anything, and where do you sell them. The thread answered by asking for names. Commenters wanted Maradona, Roy Keane, and Giuseppe Signori specifically and made buy offers, and one reply put a number on it by linking a PSA 7 Maradona sticker from the same set that sold for $250 on eBay. That is the part worth carrying home if you have a shoebox of these: loose stickers move one player at a time, and the graded singles are where the money showed up in the thread.

FC Metz and Kappa build Robert Pires' testimonial shirt on the club's 1996 Coupe de la Ligue kit

The testimonial is October 6 at Stade Saint-Symphorien, and the shirt reprises the design Metz wore in 1996, the season they won the Coupe de la Ligue with Pires central to it. Garnet, a geometric side panel, a white polo collar, the Kappa Omini logo, the Lorraine cross crest, and Pires' name and number 7 in a retro font, plus a commemorative jocktag patch. It is pre-order only, through Metz's own online store, in what the club calls strictly limited numbers. No price is given and no print run is stated, which is the bit to watch: limited without a number is a promise, not a count.

Brighton wear their limited Nike 125th anniversary kit on the pitch for the first time, against Arsenal

The shirt went on sale back in May as a boxed collector's edition of 1,901, the year of the club's first competitive match, each set packed with a scarf, keyring, pin badge, historic postcards, and a letter of authenticity before Brighton later sold the shirt standalone. It finally got a game on September 19 against Arsenal, chosen as the home fixture closest to that September 21, 1901 anniversary. All mountain blue, traditional polo collar, tonal branding, a 125-year ribbon on the crest, off-white shorts and black socks. An anniversary shirt that never gets worn in a real match tends to sit; this one now has a Premier League fixture attached to it.

Darren Rovell posts a $2.44 million sale for a 2018 Bowman Chrome Ohtani rookie autograph Red Refractor

We live in a world where an Ohtani rookie signed red refractor goes for $2.44 million tonight — close to 10x what it went for three years ago — and we don’t flinch.

The photo shows a BGS 9.5 slab with a Beckett 10 autograph grade, serial 2/5, cert 0010586287. Rovell names no auction house or marketplace and gives no figure for the earlier sale he compares it to; for scale, our August 30 coverage reported $158,600 for an Atomic Refractor from the same insert set and our September 5 edition reported $120,000 for a PSA 10 copy.

INCREDIBLE: @JerseyWild_ just completed one of the most impressive collections you'll EVER see... The entire Planetary Pursuit of Shohei Ohtani, each card in perfect PSA 10 condition 🔥 'Planetary Pursuit' places MLB players on every planet in the solar system, but the further they are from the sun, the cards become increasingly rare 👀 It's extremely difficult to collect an entire pursuit of ANY player... Doing it for the reigning NL MVP, all in perfect condition, is unreal. Congrats, Josh! 👏

Planetary Pursuit puts MLB players on each planet in the solar system, and per Topps the further out the planet, the scarcer the card, so ten of them in PSA 10 takes hunting and luck in equal measure. Topps credits the set to @JerseyWild_, named in the post's own photo credit as Josh Richter, and states no price.

That figure sits just under the $707,600 our July 30 edition reported for a Yamal Panini Black Kaboom 1/1, and well above the $503,116 in our August 19 coverage for his Topps Chrome Sapphire 1/1.
