We carried the same Fanatics Collect lot at $2.8 million on its closing day yesterday, and the final five hours took it to nearly three times that.

The lot page reads closed: $8,040,000 across 83 bids on the 2025-26 Topps Chrome Update Cooper Flagg Rookie NBA Debut Patch Auto, a one of one, PSA 10 with a 10 autograph grade. We had it at $2,800,000 on its closing day yesterday, and Yahoo Sports Collectibles reports it ran from a $3.5 million bid to the final number in the last five hours, well past the $5 million Sports Collectors Digest expected it to top when bidding opened. Fanatics Collect calls it the most expensive Cooper Flagg card of all time, past a $366,000 prior record, and the third most expensive NBA card ever, all its own framings. The same Premier Auction closed Dylan Harper's Rookie Debut Patch Auto at $2.88 million and Kon Knueppel's at $2.34 million the same morning.

Topps confirms Vault Disney pre-orders open September 29, two cards a box

Topps' own product page puts the first Disney release under its ultra-premium Vault banner on pre-order September 29. It is a two-card hobby box built on on-card autographs, multi-signed cards, production-used props from Alice in Wonderland, Jungle Cruise, Snow White and the Haunted Mansion, original sketches and diamond-embedded cards, with Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Kristen Bell, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway among the signers. Checklist Insider, which we are citing for price only, lists hobby boxes from $399.99 to $449.00; the Topps page itself states no price. September 29 is the pre-order day and the only date Topps gives, so there is no separate street or ship date to plan around yet.

Topps' own product page states November 17, 2026; Checklist Insider reports presales open since September 18 at $169.99 a box.

Topps confirms 2026 Triumphant Tennis for November 17, three numbered autographs a box

Topps' product page sets year two of Triumphant Tennis for November 17: three serial-numbered autographs per box, every one numbered to /99 or lower, plus new one-of-one Grand Slam Quad Autographs and the returning Dynamic Doubles and Triumphant Trios multi-signature cards, sold through Topps' EQL draw. Checklist Insider reports presales opened September 18 at $169.99 a box, down from $224.99 last year; that price is Checklist Insider's and is not stated on the Topps page. So the street date is seven weeks out but the draw is something a fan can act on today.

Its own listing warns that manufacturing and delivery can move dates, and Futera's site did not load for us, so this is the retailer's date rather than the manufacturer's. That price is per box in pounds from a UK shop, so factor shipping in if you are ordering from outside the UK.

Panini's own Coming Soon catalog, captured today, lists the box with no date; Checklist Insider separately estimates October 21, 2026, uncorroborated. Confirms the product, not the timing.

Checklist Insider estimates October 21 for Panini Obsidian Football's return, this time with no NFL license

Checklist Insider reports an estimated October 21 for 2026 Panini Obsidian Football, back after a year out and without NFL licensing, so the checklist leans on retired stars and college talent. The format it lists is one seven-card pack per box, twelve boxes per case, averaging a patch autograph, a second autograph, two memorabilia cards, an insert and two base cards. Panini's own Coming Soon catalog, captured today, confirms the box exists and states no date at all, so there is nothing to order from Panini yet. October 21 is Checklist Insider's own estimate with no second source behind it, Beckett's page for the product was down when we looked, so we are not putting it on our drop calendar.

Museum of Jerseys has the full account of a red Germany shirt that saw exactly one outing: a pre-World Cup friendly against a local Miyazaki U18 side in Japan in 2002, a 10-0 win. It carries adidas' styling of the moment plus three large stripes over the right shoulder, an echo of the brand's 1991 Equipment look, with player names and World Cup squad numbers but no national-team markings, worn with white socks. The site also points out that Germany's grey second strip got more tournament wear than anything that summer, and sets the red shirt inside a run of odd German warm-up kits it traces back to 1986 and 1998. A one-match shirt with no national-team markings is exactly the sort of thing that sits unidentified in a collection, which is what makes the archive entry the useful part.

He owns 17 blackless Mickey Mantles, card 150, and has documented the same anomaly on nine other card numbers. Whether the grading services will ever recognize blackless as a formal variation is still open, and the article does not claim they have. For anyone who already owns 1958 Topps, the practical point is that the tell is on the back, not the front.

Two r/Baseballcards101 commenters put Gabriel Moreno's Bowman Chrome first autograph around $10

In a thread about who the hobby is sleeping on, u/MOFNY makes the case for Moreno, saying he 'might be the current best catcher in baseball' while his Bowman Chrome first autograph 'hovers around $10,' and that they just won one on eBay for about $6. A second commenter agrees and says they picked up two Golden Mirror Moreno autos for under $75 combined, with on-card autos out of an archive-collection product going at $29.99. Those are two people's own purchase prices rather than sold-listing data, and nobody in the thread put a number on where they think it should sit.
